Deb Dulaney at McFinley Aussies put Bug to Multi Ch Heatherlyz/SL's Sam I Am CL1-R/H mHIC HCTs, 'Sami'. The results of that cross produced two puppies that Deb couldn't stand to part with, AND a lasting friendship!

BISP McFinley's Surf Rider, 'Newport' and BISP McFinley's Surf Topanga, 'Topanga'

The Sami x Bug litter also produced McFinley's Ride My Wave, 'Huntington' who resides with Jan at Dusty Boots Farms

Linda Perry at Patchwork Farms was the first to use Bug at stud - with splendid results! CH Patchworks Fortune Cookie and Bug produced CH Patchworks Rock-A-Hula Baby. Torre Waller at HAF2HAV Aussies took it from there and turned breed type and instinct into this lovely young lady who is excelling at everything she does! Way to go Torre and Hula!

That same litter also produced CH Patchworks Profile-In-Courage, Daniel. At the 2007 Mini Aussie Nationals pre-show I had an opportunity to be in the Open Dog ring in 2nd place - the first place dog was Daniel. I can stand a 'loss' like that! Daniel is carrying on his sire's legacy and is producing Champions of his own. Daniel is owned and loved by Linda Perry at Patchwork Farms.

Bug was purchased from Freddie and Terry at Ironhorse with the hope that he would add breed type and substance to the mini lines as well as produce AKC/ASCA dogs of quality. He has well surpassed our goals for him with several offspring who are UKC, Rare Heirs, IABCA and/or ARBA Champions. Several of his litters have been evaluated by Pat Hastings with the majority of his offspring being Breed/Show quality including those with AKC/ASCA/NAMSCUSA and MASCA registrations. His offspring are also proving themselves worthy in agility, obedience, herding and disc dog. Breed type, athletic ability and herding instinct are being passed on - everything we were hoping for in a foundation stud. Thank you Freddie and Terry for this wonderful boy!

Bug is a handsome boy with a wonderfully appropriate Aussie personality. He likes everything to be in it's proper place, is reserved with strangers until he knows they are OK - then everyone is his best buddy.

Bug is standing to approved bitches for a limited time.

I finally had opportunity to use Bug with Wanda for an outstanding AKC/ASCA litter. The puppies went to wonderful homes where they are loved and happy! Arrow and Able are with Carole and Asher is Keven's soul mate. (Ash is the puppy in the Bug picture at the top right of this page.)

And then there is Baloo . . . The most handsome littermate who took Reserve Winner's Dog at an AKC show at only 7 months of age. Baloo lives with our friend Pat, a small herd of Shelties and a token Doberman big brother. Baloo has his CGC and is training for agility, obedience and herding. He is a great uncle to the Shelty puppies. Baloo and family can be seen at Jahdo Shelties.

The Bug x Wanda puppies turned out so well in fact, we repeated that cross a year later.

Chandrea's Just Do It At Heartland, 'Nike', went to Karen Oldfather at Heartland Kennels.

Sydney lives nearby with our friend Linda and will make her debut in the show ring this summer - after a real bath and trim of those wild ears! :)
